August 31, 2007, Newsletter Issue #76: The Bad Credit Score

Tip of the Week

Credit.com Tip: When your credit score falls below 650, you have what is considered a bad credit score.  While it’s not terrible, it’s also not ideal.  It may make it harder for you to qualify for some credit cards or loans.  This credit score can put you in a position where the interest rate you are charged is higher than for someone with excellent or even an average credit score.
